Rising in Aries, Sun in Pisces
Aries rising means the Ascendant — the sign on the eastern horizon at your birth moment — was in Aries: cardinal fire energy ruled by Mars, direct, fast-moving and instinctively competitive. Your Sun in Pisces is the core underneath: mutable water energy ruled by Neptune, empathic, imaginative and porous to other people's moods. What follows is a sign-level sketch. Your real chart is written by your Moon, your houses and the aspects between your placements.

How the world sees you vs who you are
Fire rising meets a Water Sun: the outside is bold while the inside is deep and private. First impressions can overshoot — people expect constant heat from someone who actually needs withdrawal time to process feeling. Pace is everything.
Where it can rub
- The main friction: pace of feeling: the outer layer wants to talk it out hot, the inner layer needs to withdraw and process first.
- First impressions vs the real you: people meet the Aries layer first and may assume it is the whole story — the Pisces core only shows once trust is earned.
- The unspoken risk: assuming the rising sign is a mask and the Sun is the 'real' you. Both are real; the chart works when they are read together, with the Moon and houses included.
