Rising in Aries, Sun in Capricorn
Aries rising means the Ascendant — the sign on the eastern horizon at your birth moment — was in Aries: cardinal fire energy ruled by Mars, direct, fast-moving and instinctively competitive. Your Sun in Capricorn is the core underneath: cardinal earth energy ruled by Saturn, disciplined, ambitious and slow to open up. What follows is a sign-level sketch. Your real chart is written by your Moon, your houses and the aspects between your placements.

How the world sees you vs who you are
Fire rising meets an Earth Sun (or the reverse in temperament): the outside moves fast while the inside wants it built to last. You can look impulsive to people who have not yet seen the plan — and stubborn to people who have only seen the spark.
Where it can rub
- The main friction: speed: the outer layer decides in a heartbeat, the inner layer needs a plan and a spreadsheet.
- First impressions vs the real you: people meet the Aries layer first and may assume it is the whole story — the Capricorn core only shows once trust is earned.
- The unspoken risk: assuming the rising sign is a mask and the Sun is the 'real' you. Both are real; the chart works when they are read together, with the Moon and houses included.
